It’s soon Christmas so let’s look at one of its characters. Joulupukki or Santa Claus (yes, the one who lives in Rovaniemi, Finnish Lapland) is apparently more multilingual than one might first imagine. When you look at the major websites dedicated to Santa, they all seem to be quite multilingual. You can, for example, watch Santa Television in seven different languages, such as Italian: “Incontrate Babbo Natale e i suoi elfi e scoprite le tradizioni del Natale sulla Internet TV di Babbo Natale.
