The Mercator Network and CIEMEN are pleased to announce the conference"The role of legislation in enhancing linguistic diversity: recent developments and trends" to be held in Barcelona from 30 September to 1st October 2011.
The 2011 conference aims at providing researchers, civil society representatives, policy makers and stakeholders with an understanding of new developments and trends in language legislation -either from a top-down approach or a bottom-up approach-, considering recent needs and events.
For this conference, scholars, university students, practitioners, policy makers, language lobbyists and grassroots organizations working and/or researching on language and legislation are sought and welcome.
